Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer, recognized as one of the members of the band One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on February 1st, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own musical band with three of his classmates. The band was identified as the White Eskimo. The band won in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks due to its outstanding presentation. There was always an interest in music, but he always wanted to become a lawyer or physical therapist. He worked at a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he was a part of the performance Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. That's the reason his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. In the contest, the group were singing songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. They ended up third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell still paid 2 million pounds One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
