Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the sweetheart of America after she took home American Idol in the first series. The win was more than hugely successful and a huge success, it also earned her a recording contract for multiple albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since then, she has released a number of Studio albums. The three albums made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. Her name is regarded as one of the most successful American Idol artists. After achieving success, she tried out different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line with her personal feelings. Due to her distinctiveness and talent as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from the media and received a number of prestigious awards. She was awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. In addition to her musical career, she has appeared in films as well as television programs. She also co-wrote the children's storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.
